I’ve been a movie lover my whole life, a father since 2001 and a blog writer since 2009. I’ve also been a stay at home dad for quite a while now. Combining those things can sometimes be challenging but it can also be very enlightening. Will my kids grow up to be movie lovers like I am? Maybe not but that doesn’t mean I’m not trying!
I decided it was time to start sharing some of the experiences I have while trying to be the best dad, boyfriend, movie lover and blogger I can be. Hopefully everyone will find these posts entertaining, inspiring and touching. I know that’s how I’ve felt about my life so far.
This page will just provide easy access to all the posts in the Keep It Down Kids: Dad at the Movies series here on The Film Reel. The hope is that it will be a weekly series, usually going up on Sunday or Monday morning, chronicling my week as I try to keep my household running while still finding the time to do what I love, watching and reviewing movies!

Yup, it shouldn’t be too hard to come up with ideas for this one. I just wind the kids up and let them go and then see what happens!
