Well, I’ve already reviewed this one so I’ll put that link here. While I’ll skip the review I want to put up my opinion of seeing it in a different venue. The Toronto After Dark audiences always make the films that much better. I personally enjoy watching people jump in fright and then follow that up with nervous laughter. There was no better example of this then the girl sitting in front of me. Everything made her squeal in terror and jump. I think she watched half the movie with her hands by her face so she could hide. It was hilarious! Of course this film was great and it started off the zombie event for that day. Where else can the undead see two movies for the price of one. I was really glad that I got to see this one at the festival because it made a great movie that much better.

DEADWALKERS

Spencer Estabrooks, 14 min

Gunman Jack Link is on his way to the local Sheriff to deliver a pair of train robbers. Only problem is the Sheriff appears to be dead… and hungry.

This short I did get to see and it was quite good. I love the western themed zombies. Great combo with the Nazi zombies that followed this. That and Jack Link was a great hero, even if he’ll be fighting the bad guys in his undead form from now on!

Just what you want when looking up a review of a movie; the twist ending spoiled in a careless blog. Why would you ruin the end of Dead Walkers?
